The B-9 flight jacket, famous for being made by Eddie Bauer for the U.S. military, was issued for a short period only, in 1943 and 1944. Therefore, civilian versions were produced using the actual pattern as the B9 type. Finding a real one in good condition is almost impossible, and even civilian versions are mostly well-worn, but this one is in very good condition. With a SIMCO aluminum zipper and the WPL marking of the manufacturer, it is believed to be a product from the 1950s to 1960s. The shell is cotton satin. It has a silhouette similar to the N-3B, a split hood seen on the N-2B, and a chin strap with boa on the collar. The quilted lining extends to the sleeve cuffs, and the inner cuffs are ribbed. Marked size: XL A similar civilian product in a large size at a famous military shop costs 58,500 yen, even with noticeable stains. This is a good size and in miraculous condition!
