The tsuka (handle) is finished with black same (rayskin) lacquer and wrapped with iron-navy cotton thread in a twisted pattern. The sageo (cord) is also iron-navy cotton. The fittings feature auspicious designs of the wind god and lion, as well as a design representing immortality. The habaki (blade collar) has a gold-colored yusuri (gold plating) finish. Also, the moto-kasane (thickness at the base of the blade) is 0.8cm, and the weight when drawn is 1100g, which makes it feel like a Doudanuki sword. This is a sword with many interesting features.
