I purchased this at a Celine directly-managed store in Kobe some time ago. I believe the leather was calfskin, and it's incredibly soft. I haven't used it in the last few years, so it's been in storage and has some wrinkles, but being leather, it should soften with use. There's some scuffing on the bottom and a single black line on the Celine logo, but it's not noticeable at all when carried on the shoulder (please see the photos). The inner lining is beige suede-like fabric, and there are no stains or dirt.
