Genuine fuchi and kashira. Not something made in modern times, but handcrafted by artisans. Authentic Edo period work. I think this price is cheap for fuchi and kashira. Design in a small space. Fuchi and kashira for a wakizashi, made in the Edo period. No damage, and an elegant build. This is a work with the refined taste of age. The craftsmanship of the time was amazing. It would cost over 80,000 to 100,000 yen to make such a small item now, and I don't think there are many artisans left. I think the design is wonderful even after several hundred years.
