This is a lidded suzuri (inkstone) that has been stored at my parents' house for a long time. I don't know much about calligraphy, so I'm not sure what kind it is. There are no major scratches, but it was used by my family and shows signs of wear (the underside of the lid and the surface of the inkstone have some wear).
