The Life of Physicist Torahiko Terada After graduating from the Faculty of Science, Tokyo Imperial University in 1903, he became an assistant professor at the same university in 1906, and studied in Germany until 1908. In 1913, he discussed X-ray crystal structure analysis (Laue spots) in academic journals in the UK and Japan, and received the Imperial Academy Award in 1917. He is famous for the saying, "Disasters strike when they are forgotten." He was also active as a haiku poet and essayist. Thank you for watching.
