It has been stored at home with little use since purchase. It's convenient to adjust the heat while cooking because you can check the inside. It sometimes burns, but it comes off cleanly when using baking soda and a melamine sponge. When rapidly cooling from a heated state, cool it down to some extent before exposing it to water. (Regarding the product being sold here, I have not used any melamine sponges or baking soda at all. I have only used neutral detergent and disinfection.)
