Koya Nakamura (January 2, 1885 – February 5, 1970) was a Japanese historian of the Taisho and Showa periods. He was a professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo. His specialty was early modern Japanese history. He received a Doctor of Literature degree from the University of Tokyo in 1926. He was from Gunma Prefecture. Akiie Kitabatake was a court noble and military commander of the Southern Court during the late Kamakura period and the Nanboku-cho period. He was the eldest son of Imperial Prince Chikafusa Kitabatake, who wrote the *Jinnō Shōtōki*. His main work is the *Kitabatake Akiie Jōsōbun*. He held the positions of Southern Court's Junior Second Rank, Gon-Chunagon, Mutsu no Suke, and Chinju-fu Shōgun, and was posthumously awarded the Senior First Rank and the position of Udaijin.
