The exterior shows signs of use. The focus ring is smooth. The aperture ring has a good click feel, but when attached to a D80, the contact surface with the body was tight and wouldn't turn. There were no problems with an old film camera (non-Ai compatible). There is no oil on the aperture blades. The lens has been cleaned, but there may be slight dust. There is a hairline scratch on the rear element that is difficult to see. It is not believed to affect shooting.
