This is a high-quality obi (sash) for Buddhist memorial services, purchased about 30 years ago as part of a bride's trousseau. It has a pale blue pattern. It is unused but has been stored long-term in a paulownia chest, and there are a few stains. They are believed to be in areas that will not be visible when worn.
