The original fabric had a weave, and it was a lovely kimono. It has a V-neck, so when worn, the sleeves will drop slightly, creating a French sleeve effect. I believe the material is silk. As shown in the last image, there are some areas where the edge of the fabric has been cut, possibly due to markings. It's on the back side, so there's no problem on the front. (I'll mention it just in case.)
