This item was purchased about 15 years ago from Kuruminoki in Nara. It has never been exposed to direct heat and was used as a teapot. As it is an iron kettle, it is prone to rust and is heavy, but I believe it will develop a nice patina with use. As shown in the images, there is rust and signs of use, so I would appreciate it if you could appreciate it as part of its character. Approximately 22cm x 14cm
