The white background with the reddish-purple woven pattern gives it a very refreshing feel. It seems to be woven with thin紬糸 (tsumugi silk thread), and there are knots as seen in photo 4, which also adds to the appeal. Also, it is very light, and this finished item weighs only about 100g. Since the fabric is thin and smooth, the width is wider from the thighs to the hem, but it is not heavy at all, and it looks great even when the hem is gathered. Of course, you can enjoy various ways of wearing it, either straight or folded over. These are made based on Unagi no Nedoko's pattern (unisex M size), with one pocket on the right rear. There are two elastic bands in the waist and also in the hem. Because they are made to be loose-fitting and to make the most of the fabric's texture, knee pads are not included.
