The small, four-sided turquoise pieces are linen. The large, eight-sided pattern is cotton print, using Moda Fabrics sheeting cotton. I used the large pattern in the eight-sided sections, trying to make it interesting. I connected many pieces, consciously aiming for a patchwork feel. The handles are acrylic leather, so they are light, durable, and sweat-resistant. Also, the bag has a large gusset for ample storage. It seems like it could be used as a commuter bag.
