Kizakura Sake Campaign This is a set of Echizen-yaki tokkuri (sake bottle) and sakazuki (sake cups) that were given away as a "Thank You Gift" in the Kizakura sake campaign. Over 20 years ago, these were distributed to those who collected points by drinking sake and are not for sale. The texture unique to Echizen-yaki, which feels the earthiness of the clay, and the plump, rounded shape of the tokkuri are very attractive. When you hold them, they fit comfortably in your hand, and they are sake vessels with a calm appearance. Although they are not flashy, they have a quiet and understated charm that seems to accompany the time you spend savoring sake slowly. Both the tokkuri and the ochoko (sake cup) have a small "Echizen" stamp. I don't know the capacity of the tokkuri, so I placed it next to a tokkuri I have at home (image 7). I hope this will be helpful. Please understand that due to long-term storage, there are signs of aging, such as the appearance of the glaze and fine scratches.
