Thank you for viewing. This is silk thread for kumihimo braiding, "Akane (alum mordant)" (Domyō seal). It has a beautiful, subtle color, a sort of vermilion. Recommended as a material for kumihimo and obijime, for dyeing and weaving collections, and as a reference for reproduction work. This is a portion of a large quantity that was passed down to me. I myself am mostly ignorant, so I cannot answer detailed questions about the product. Also, although the name Domyō is included (or a sticker is affixed), I cannot accept claims such as it not being made by Domyō. (I think it was probably only purchased from Domyō.)
