I bought this, but the fabric is too thick for me, as I tend to get hot and sweat easily, so I don't think I'll wear it. I removed the tags and washed it, but I haven't worn it. It can be worn for formal occasions, but it's not the typical smooth and silky type. It's made of a sturdy fabric, 70% cotton and 30% polyester. The jacket has a ribbon accent at the waist, which can be removed. The jacket collar can be folded down or worn as a stand-up collar. The dress can be worn on its own and is cute. Also, the thread securing the skirt's hem pleats is still attached. I think it would be perfect for someone who is slender and feels the cold easily, or someone who doesn't like air conditioning.
