Purchased from a handmade shop. This is a patchwork quilt with an applique of Sunbonnet Sue. It's a Sunbonnet Sue tapestry made with Liberty print fabric. The material is Liberty Tana Lawn. The edging fabric and the fabric on the back are also Liberty Tana Lawn with lovely colors and patterns. I fell in love with it at first sight because of its beauty and cuteness, but I was afraid of getting it dirty, so I only admired it for a while and then carefully stored it. It was very expensive when I bought it, but I couldn't bear to just leave it, so I'm offering it at a bargain price, hoping someone will take it over. Both the applique and the quilting are done with very fine stitches and are carefully made. I think it's a work that's a model of quilting. I think it would be great as a tapestry (wall hanging), a hanging cloth for a blind, or as a material for making cushions or bags.
