Thank you for viewing. This is a censer I purchased about 20 years ago. It's a classic shape, but the lines are undeniably beautiful. You can see why it's been appreciated for so long. It's celadon, but I liked that the color leans a little towards green, so I brought it home. After purchasing it, I would occasionally display it and enjoy it. The shop owner said it might be a Tang item. The roughness on the rim is a kiln scar. There's also a scratch just below that, which is also likely a kiln scar. There are cracks (nyu) throughout.
