This is an approximately 2.25 million knot ultra-high-density woven carpet imported directly from Iran, the home of Persian carpets. It features a traditional Herati pattern, with each one a beautiful mosaic of pictures. In Iran, it is sold as a machine-woven version of a Persian carpet, and as a machine-woven carpet, it is of the highest quality rank, a product rarely seen elsewhere. The weaving density of carpets is considered very fine from around 1 million knots, but this one is even finer, with over 2.2 times the density, approximately 2.25 million knots/m². (The weaving density of commonly available carpets is from 90,000 knots to about 750,000 knots.) It has the authentic design of a hand-woven Persian carpet, the fineness of a hand-woven carpet, and the durability unique to machine weaving. It is a Wilton weave with a durable finish. High-quality acrylic fibers are heat-set, giving it a texture and feel similar to cork wool. It is also characterized by its high heat retention, similar to wool. In addition, unlike wool, it does not develop a unique odor over time, nor does it suffer from insect damage or fading like plant-dyed carpets, allowing you to enjoy its unchanging beauty for a long time. Regular maintenance is sufficient with a vacuum cleaner.
