This is a pre-production model of the MR2 (AW11) G-Limited. I built it because the box art with the green and gold two-tone color scheme looked cool. The 2-seater midship layout body, retractable headlights, and sharp-edged styling give it that classic lightweight sports car feel, which is irresistible, isn't it? I built this for myself and kept it in my collection, but I'm putting it up for sale to make space for display and to raise funds to purchase the next kit. It's a work of an amateur, but I hope those who are satisfied with the quality will purchase it. ■ Product Overview Toyota MR2 (AW11) Pre-production model G-Limited (Moonroof) - Kit Manufacturer: Hasegawa - Scale: 1/24 - Other: Includes a Daiso display case ■ Construction Overview - Assembly: Basically, a straight build of the kit. - Painting: The upper body is painted with peacock green over a British green base, and the lower body is painted with titanium gold. The smoke on the rear visor was too dark, and the TOYOTA logo decal became invisible, which is a regret. - Surface Treatment: Lacquer clear coating → Compound polishing - Other: M3 nuts are embedded inside the chassis, so it can be fixed to a base with M3 screws (removable). The front retractable headlights can be manually set to the lit state (no opening/closing mechanism). The engine hood behind the seats can be opened and closed, allowing you to peek at the replicated engine inside (no opening/closing mechanism). ■ Other - The main body is in good condition because it was displayed in a display case. - Please understand that this was made as a personal hobby.
