Purchased in Bali, Indonesia, from a shop selling ceremonial fabrics. It's a silk sarong (waistcloth) made from Indian silk, similar to those used for Indian saris. (I bought it during a period when this type of sarong was popular locally.) The fabric is a thin, smooth emerald green gradient with embroidered-like botanical patterns. Silver glitter is applied to the center of the flowers, giving it a beautiful, jeweled appearance. The short edges are hand-stitched with a hem, but there is some slight distortion (see images). The long edges are the selvedges of the fabric. I wore it twice for Balinese ceremonies. There are some minor scuff marks that are only visible when held up to the light, but there are no noticeable stains or major damage.
