This is a kuksa, handmade in a workshop in Shimukappu Village, Hokkaido, from Hokkaido-grown birch wood. I fell in love with it and bought it, but I'm selling it to someone who will cherish it. The surface has a textured finish. Each wooden cup is carefully carved, creating a piece that feels delicate yet strong and warm, making you want to cherish it for a long time. The unique wood grain, color, and texture of each piece are also appealing. This kuksa feels amazing to hold. In Northern Europe, kuksas are used as good luck charms and are given as gifts, such as for soup bowls or coffee cups. I only put water in it once, but I have not used it for drinking.
