Thank you for viewing. This was given to me as a thank you from a young, unknown monk, about 30 years ago. He lived in Saga Prefecture, and that's all I know about him now. My impression of him at the time was that he was pure and innocent. The paper cut is of the Namikiri Fudo Myoo. There are several brown spots visible on the forehead in the fifth photo and around the hem of the clothes in the sixth photo. They can also be seen around the waist. The frame is wooden and shows signs of color degradation. The white ring-like objects in the photos are from the lighting. It was displayed in the tokonoma (alcove) at my parents' house. After I got married, I displayed it on top of the piano in my Western-style house, but it didn't fit the atmosphere of the room with the children around, so after much deliberation, I decided to put it up for sale.
