It's likely a medical case of some kind. I don't know what it's used for. I think it's stainless steel, but I'm not sure. I bought it over 10 years ago from an online antique shop. The surface is like a mirror, but it has small scratches. The inside is divided into two sections, and the larger side has glass laid in it. It's not original, and I think it was added by the antique shop. The edge of the glass can also be removed. Please check the images. I've only displayed it and haven't used it. It's in very good condition, so I think it can be used as a case. The hinges are also very well-made, and you can see the quality of the Showa era. It might be from Germany or somewhere similar.
