It uses THE NORTH FACE's unique 3-layer softshell material "APEX," which has high stretch in both the vertical and horizontal directions. The laminated film on the inside provides wind resistance, and the water-repellent surface of the fabric makes it less susceptible to rain and fog. Flat elastic is used at the hem and the palm side of the sleeves to improve the fit. It is equipped with zippered side pockets convenient for storing small items.
