This is a kimono (furisode set) for SD size dolls. I had it made when I was into dolls, asking someone who does Japanese tailoring to make it so that it could be put on even if I didn't know much about kimonos. It's made from various materials, such as antique silk fabrics used in human kimonos. The seams on the sleeves are proof of hand-sewn tailoring, which of course also exists in human kimonos. Hiyoku tailoring is a method of tailoring that makes it look like two kimonos are layered. Only the sleeve openings, the swing, the collar, and the hem are double-layered by sewing on a fabric called hiyoku-ji. It becomes difficult to wrap the obi because of the thickness when layering the undergarment and furisode on the upper body of the SD. ▪️Volks SD size (applicable)▪️ Silk saya-gata (key fret pattern) mandarin duck and flowing water pattern kimono, hiyoku tailoring Half-collar with white, gold, and silver embroidery Long undergarment with vermilion ground and bell pattern dyeing Vermilion red chrysanthemum pattern, tortoise shell pattern ground, white hemp leaf pattern ground, ohayori sewn on Obi with gold and silver flower pattern woven, Velcro closure, vermilion obiage, and sewn-on shibori obijime Purple cape An easy-to-follow instruction manual on how to dress the doll will be included. I wanted to easily dress the SD in a kimono, but instead of using cut cotton from a craft store, I used silk, obi, and half-collars made from human kimono fabrics. The antique fabrics were purchased in various ways, such as scraps, bolts of fabric, kimonos from markets, stores, events, and disassembled kimonos, and the old scraps may have had parts joined together. Since I don't buy new fabric at stores, the manufacturing conditions vary. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. It is made with an industrial sewing machine and hand-sewing. However, please consider it as a hobby product made by an amateur individual, not a store item. It is not suitable for those who are particular about details! ▪️SD doll is not included. I will list it again separately. Only the furisode set is included. The chair, stand, doll, and wig accessories are props for photography and are not included▪️ #SD #Kimono #Furisode #SDSizeKimono #FurisodeObiSet
