I am selling a Marantz CD player, the CD-17D. I used it as my main system for a long time, but after introducing a new SACD player, I haven't used it much. After neglecting to power it on for 1-2 years, some issues have arisen. There are some problems, such as a slightly sluggish response when inserting a CD. However, the biggest issue is that the volume doesn't increase and the sound quality becomes muffled during CD playback and when using the DAC. I contacted the manufacturer, and they said it's likely a capacitor issue, requiring repairs costing around 20,000 to 30,000 yen. Therefore, I am selling it as a "junk" item. Please purchase it assuming you will repair it or use it for parts. The only included accessory is the instruction manual. Please note that a remote control is not included. (Switching to DAC mode is only possible with the remote control, so if you want to use DAC mode, please obtain a remote control separately.)
