After purchasing new, I read it once and stored it in a dark place. Although there is some yellowing of the paper due to aging and minor scratches on the cover, I believe the condition is good for a used item, as far as a layman can tell. When shipping, I plan to wrap it in a plastic bag and send it in a paper bag or cardboard box. I may use cushioning material to fill gaps, but I don't plan to use it for wrapping.
