At that time, Rajasthan was not yet as industrialized in tourism as it is today, and traditional woodblock printing workshops were still functioning daily outside of urban areas. Remnants from when it was made into curtains and cloth during the construction of a new house in the 1990s. This textile has layers of time. It's not just "dead stock." The lineage of the floral arabesque patterns developed during the Mughal Empire. Multi-color printing by hand-carved woodblocks. Misalignment of the blocks, color unevenness, and dye bleeding are elements that cannot be replicated by machine printing.
