Rae Dunn / Rae Dunn Pottery designed by a female ceramic artist from California, USA. I received it as a gift and displayed it in my room as is. The short hand and the battery compartment are loose. Because it's heavy, I was afraid to hang it on the wall, so I displayed it on a shelf! I've never put batteries in it. So I don't know if it works. I think of it as an ornament, not a clock. It was very cute and made a great accent in my greige room!
