This is a used, completed 1/16 scale radio-controlled model from Tamiya. [Condition] Acquired the completed kit over 40 years ago. Intended to create an original tank, but abandoned the project. Kept the original body and stored it until recently. Repaired for sale by using remaining parts and some self-made parts to fix damaged areas. [Product Condition] Aluminum chassis and screw-on parts disassembled and cleaned. Gearbox also disassembled for removal of modified parts and cleaning (photo 10). There is a possibility that the gear position has changed, increasing resistance. There are scratches on the inside of the chassis and the gearbox due to the use of a cutter knife to remove the adhesive G17 after removing the modified parts. The clutch lever is connected with wire and epoxy adhesive for repair or modification (photo 9). The clutch is damaged. Moving the lever in either direction causes both left and right sides to stop. The right rearview mirror mounting part uses a self-made part from a runner (photo 15), so it is black. Unpainted. Plastic parts are missing or have adhesive overflow. Rubber wheels have cracks (photo 11). During the gearbox disassembly, there were deteriorated paper-like parts (photo 12, right side). Both were replaced with metal M4 washers (photo 12, left side). The hatch spring on the top of the turret and the mudguard screws have rust (photos 14, 20). The underside of the aluminum chassis was polished with 2000 and 6000 grit sandpaper to remove traces of handling, making them less noticeable, but there are overall sandpaper scratches. One of the searchlight doors does not open (photo 7). The motor has been confirmed to be working (photo 19). The motor dresser and battery shown in the photos are not included. The rear barrel fixing part (indicated by the ruler) is damaged and has been repaired with a self-made part (photo 18). Instruction manual included (photos 8, 13), no box. [Please Note] The screws for attaching the bottom of the rear panel are substitutes (instruction manual in photo 13). They are slightly longer, so two washers were used to adjust the length protruding inside. There is a plastic gear directly above, and if the screws protrude too much, they will damage the gear. If disassembled, be sure to use washers during reassembly. (In the past, the gear seems to have been scraped by the screws.) [Other] It is difficult to run due to the clutch problem. Since there are few missing parts on the exterior, it is suitable for display. Please refrain from price negotiations.
