This is a tray by Nagano Yokobue, a master of Kyoto lacquerware. The first Yokobue founded the workshop around 1804, and the second Yokobue died in 1854, leading to the family name's discontinuation. In any case, it is undoubtedly a work from the late Edo period. A hanging tray by Yokobue is also rare, and it seems to be a high-quality item if it was used in a setting where hanging trays were employed. There are no noticeable cracks or chips.
