This is a beautiful, authentic juban (undershirt for kimono) with a striking red base and gold accents. I purchased it at an antique kimono shop and sewed the embroidered han-eri (collar) on myself. This is not a kimono made for the Shichi-Go-San (7-5-3 Festival), so it is recommended for those with advanced kimono dressing skills. I think it would be nice to intentionally show a little of it, or to coordinate the dressing with the atmosphere of the kimono. Recommended for a nihongami (traditional Japanese hairstyle) style. Sleeve width: 14cm Shoulder width: 15cm Body length: 85cm Hip lift: 13cm Shoulder lift: 6cm It has been shoulder and hip lifted to fit a small 7-year-old girl. It is heavier compared to a thin polyester juban, so I think it would look better if you adjust it to fit your child's body.
