Extreme Jox Figure ROB DYRDEK DC SHOES alien workshop Rob Dyrdek, a former professional skateboarder and OG member of AWS (Alien Workshop), is now a businessman active in various fields. Simply put, he is one of the key figures who brought skateboarding to the mainstream. In terms of his contribution to the skateboarding community, I personally consider him to be the next generation's Tony Hawk. However, what sets him apart from Tony Hawk is that he has been involved in business ventures behind the scenes while also being in the spotlight. His activities are diverse, including the launch of SLS, movies, and MTV program production, but his contribution to building a skate plaza in Kettering, Ohio, his hometown, is immeasurable. Skate plazas (skate parks modeled after street spots) are scattered around the world, but Rob was likely the originator of the idea.
