I remade a silk furisode (long-sleeved kimono) I bought at a recycle shop. It's a beautiful, glossy vermillion color with a woven pattern. There are cherry blossom and butterfly motifs. There are some creases that couldn't be removed. The lining of the long bag is silk, made from a nagajuban (long undergarment) fabric I also bought as a bolt at the recycle shop. It has a beautiful origami crane pattern. The lining of the body bag is the same kimono lining. The photo shows a Tsugaru shamisen inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Outer fabric: Silk Long bag lining: Silk Body bag lining: Unknown This is handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. Here are my personal thoughts... When a shamisen rests, the sound can become muffled, but I feel like it gives a good sound the more you play it. However, I feel like storing it in a silk long bag and body bag allows it to produce a good sound from the first strike. (*^^*)
