In Boost mode, the gain and tone are bypassed, and only the volume is active. This Boost mode is exquisite, adding a Marshall-like presence, making it useful as an amp booster or a booster for other overdrives. The Blues mode is also very user-friendly, with a solid low-end feel, and it doesn't make single-coil pickups sound thin. The gain also covers a fairly high range.
