The English seem to like sun motifs. It's possible this pattern was a house motif style, and since there are several of these, it might be good for those who want to collect them. About half are clear and half are colored, but the glass patterns seem to be made using different techniques, resulting in a style where various textures and colors intermingle. It's not mechanical, and the randomness created by human hands is a beautiful feature of these pieces.
