I purchased this Bizen ware from Ichiyo Kiln at the Kurashiki Bizen Ware Gallery in May of the year before last. It's a "sanshiki" style piece, and I originally bought it as a gift for a friend, but it was too beautiful, so I kept it for myself to admire. (I gave my friend Izumo ware instead.) It's unused. The long plate was purchased three years ago when I visited Imamiya Kobo in Matsue. This is also unused. Both are very fine works. Boxes and instruction manuals are not included.
