(Illustrated Natural History of Quadrupeds, Birds, Fish, Serpents, Insects, &c.) published in the 1650s by the Scottish naturalist Johannes Jonston. It is said that he imagined and drew unknown creatures based on stories he heard from sailors at the time. There are no noticeable stains, but it is a used item.
