Kōhō is an artist specializing in chinkin and maki-e, techniques that require particularly advanced skills in Wajima-nuri. Wajima-nuri is characterized by its durability and beauty, achieved by applying multiple layers of lacquer. Kōhō's works are highly regarded for their high level of skill and artistry.
