It has a loop, so you can attach a ball chain or something similar and use it as a keyholder. I have stored it at home since I purchased it. I believe there are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please understand that it is a used item. Please refrain from purchasing if you are very sensitive to such things. I will ship it in a way that minimizes the thickness.
