This is a hair accessory for Japanese traditional clothing. I purchased it at a kimono shop. The material is probably silk (I'm not sure). The sound of the bells is cute. I've used it about 3 times, for a few hours each time. I don't see any stains. It's clean. There are a few fold marks that appear to have been made during storage (see photo 8).
