He studied under the second generation Rakuzan Fujiwara, an Intangible Cultural Property of Okayama Prefecture. He became independent in 1972, building his own kiln. He has received numerous awards, including at the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition. A relative who is a pottery collector carefully stored several jars by Kosen Sueishi, which I am putting up for sale. This item is one of them.
