This is an antique, traditionally dyed Homongi (formal visiting kimono). It has basting threads and is unused. There is discoloration on the collar lining. The outer fabric is in very beautiful condition. It is probably a piece from the mid-Showa era (1950s-1970s). The sleeves are made long. The base pattern has a Sarasa-like design with a luster, and the color is a reddish-purple. It has a bold design with what appears to be floating peonies.
