Tires are attached to the bottom, collaged with rivets. The inside is hand-carved, not machine-made. Roughly, the overtones and reverberations have settled. I've used it a few times, but I don't think I'll use it in the future, so I've decided to sell it after some deliberation! To my liking, it has a two-strand braid, and the tension is at its highest. Even if you pinch the tension rope, it feels like it can't go any tighter, haha. I didn't attach a handle because I thought you might have a preferred grip.
