This is a 4/4 size violin making kit, VK-1, from the world-famous Höfner. The top plate is curved and pre-cut, and the sides and neck are also partially processed. I purchased several of these through parallel import from a musical instrument wholesaler. Special tools and varnish are required separately for the actual work. You should be able to find reference books and videos, but I have unearthed the original manual and will include a copy. This is an old kit that is already out of production. The VK-1 is particularly rare. I have taken care to store it in a manner similar to a violin, but please consider the nature of the product before purchasing.
