The lenses are transparent, with UV and blue light cut, and a multi-coating finish, aspherical lenses. The prescription is for nearsightedness without astigmatism, and seems to be moderate. Since prescriptions vary from person to person, lens replacement is recommended, but it seems possible to wear them in certain situations if they aren't so strong that they hurt your eyes.
