I believe this was made from obi fabric, leftover kimono fabric, or B-grade fabric. My family had a Tango chirimen factory, so it's likely related to that, but I'm not certain. It was made by my grandmother, who passed away a long time ago. She left several of these, so I'm putting them up for sale. Due to poor storage, there are some areas where threads are coming out and some damage. *See photos* The basting thread is still attached. The drawstring part is simply made, but the bottom is fairly sturdy. It's an old item.
