Antique Belgian wooden small box, approximately 19cm wide, with a beautifully carved openwork floral pattern on the top lid and five sides. It's a folk art-style, Art Nouveau wooden carving, perfect for storing small items. The top lid features an openwork carving of a pink… a flower similar to a carnation. All sides have small morning glories/gourds, or flowers and leaves similar to periwinkles, swaying gracefully and arranged charmingly. The box is made of thin boards, approximately 5mm thick, layered in four sheets. The upper and lower rims have scallop-shaped cut decorations. The scallops are also hollowed out, giving the impression of antique lace. The surface appears to be coated with a glossy varnish. As a bonus, I'll include an antique French fabric with images of pink roses, carnations, and small blue and orange flowers to line the inside bottom. It's slightly larger than the bottom and has a 1-2 fold at the edges. Please forgive any measurement errors due to amateur measurements.
